Age UK Age UK provides support to adults of all ages (16 yrs+), including unpaid carers. Age UK Islington provide advice, guidance and can help people to engage with specialist agencies and social groups.  
BBC Children in Need Emergency Essentials The BBC Children in Need Emergency Essentials Programme supports children and young people facing exceptionally difficult circumstances. It provides items such as beds, cookers and other items critical to a child’s wellbeing. All applications must be made by a registered referrer.

They also provide direct financial help through a range of specific funds.
