I have worked in social housing and community development for many years. I am currently leading on resident involvement and service improvement at Islington Council. I have volunteered in the borough from a young age and I am currently the Community Lead for ‘The Mandem’ a grassroots group focused on men’s mental health, wellbeing, and dad advocacy.
Islington is my home. I was born and raised here, I still live here, and I’ve spent most of professional life working alongside its communities, giving me a connection to the borough that is personal and professional.
I was inspired by Cloudesley’s deep connection to Islington and its communities, as well as the opportunity to be part of one of London’s oldest continuously operating charities.
As a trustee, I am keen to bring my lived experience and perspectives to help widen Cloudesley’s reach to residents and communities who are currently disengaged from the support available to them.
