I currently work in the Voluntary and Community Sector team at Islington Council and have previously worked in politics and adult social care. I have volunteered with lots of different charities, including Chance UK and Amnesty International, but this is my first committee role.
I live in Highbury, play football with Islington Borough Ladies FC, and spend most of my time in the borough.
I think it’s important to have young trustees, committee members and diverse boards to encourage debate and different perspectives. I also wanted to contribute my local knowledge as a member of the community in Islington.
