I was a qualified social worker leading organisations working with and for people with disabilities. But, now retired, I like volunteering my time, including as Chair of Centre 404 until 2021.
I was born and married in Islington and still live in the borough.
For many years I had appreciated being in receipt of Cloudesley’s legacy funding for organisations in Islington, so I wanted to use my knowledge, experience and skills on the ‘allocation’ aspect to the community and churches in Islington.
