Advice Session on funding applications - Hosted by The National Lottery
The National Lottery Community Fund (TNLCF) is working with the Government to distribute funds to support organisations to continue to deliver services to people and communities affected by COVID-19. This programme is called the Coronavirus Community Support Fund (CCSF).
To find out more about how to apply for support through CCSF, advice sessions are being held by TNLCF in partnership with Islington Council, Voluntary Action Islington and local funders Cripplegate, Islington Giving and Cloudesley.
Next session: Tuesday 30 June 11:00am - 12.30pm - Online (details to be confirmed to attendees)
To register for this, please email email@example.com. There are limited places available so it is recommended that one person per organisation registers. Confirmation of the booking and registration links will then be provided.
To help individuals, voluntary organisations and churches in Islington to respond to the impact of the coronavirus outbreak, Cloudesley has made changes to its grant programmes and introduced initial Emergency Grant Funds.
For further information, please see the following sections of our website, or contact us via firstname.lastname@example.org:
Cloudesley staff are working remotely, but you can still contact us in the usual way by email or phone.

Co-ordinated by London Funders, the London Community Response Fund has been launched with over £5 million of funding committed from funders coming together to offer easy-to-access funding via a shared online portal.
The Fund initially opened for Wave 1 applications for grants of up to £5,000 focused on immediate and urgent needs (food and other essentials). A second wave of applications will open in early April for larger grants focused on the cost of service transformation and ongoing work to support communities in London.

Islington Giving has launched a Crisis Fund to raise funding to support the most vulnerable people in Islington during the coronavirus crisis. For more information, including how to donate, please see here.

Along with many other funders, Cloudesley is a signatory to the London Funders' statement on covid-19. This means that we are committed to working flexibly with funded organisations and churches over the coming months and being as supportive as we can in these difficult times by:
- Adapting activities – acknowledging that agreed outcomes may not be achieved in the timeframes originally set
- Discussing dates – not adding pressure on organisations to meet tight reporting deadlines
- Financial flexibility – allowing organisations to use money differently, e.g. buying equipment and covering staff sickness
- Listening – encouraging grantees to have frank conversations with us and being supportive of their needs
