Support in Islington for 500 years

From July 2017 to June 2018 Cloudesley will be celebrating its 500th anniversary.

The Charity dates back to 1517 when Richard Cloudesley - an Islington resident - wrote his will. In this will Richard Cloudesley left 14 acres of land, called the Stony Fields, to trustees for charitable and church purposes. The ‘14 acres’ still forms the basis of the Charity’s capital and income.
